The Shins

The Shins – Sleeping Lessons

Old stuff but you know when a song that you’ve heard a million times suddenly hits you smack on the head and you experience the “this song is not good…it’s freaking amazing” epiphany so you then proceed to listen to it on repeat for days?  Yeah, it’s kinda like that. Also, one of the few good bands I can claim being from my hometown. Albuquerque is sadly still saturated with 16-year-old emo kids. I mean straight emo. I don’t understand it.

Sleigh Bells

Sleigh Bells – Tell ‘Em

Turn your speakers all the way up. Unless you are in a public place and then I would advice against that.

Band of Horses

Band of Horses – Funeral

The Love Language

The Love Language – Lalita

This song is on here because I like it but mainly out of anticipation for their new album Libraries which is due out on Merge July 13. Hooray!

The Wombats

The Wombats – Lost in the Post

“I should have known you didn’t have the time my dear
To let this twenty something bring you down with his list of fears”
