Ah the ethics that go into digital communication. Obviously the biggest no no is retouching a photo and then presenting it as fact when, in reality, it has been completely distorted and taken away from its natural state. Obviously everyone’s super familiar with celebrities being airbrushed to mannequin like proportions.
Not to mention BP’s brilliant move of plastering a doctored image of BP command center 2001 and putting fun and super duper important looking pictures on on their screens. Whee.
Now, take the smart idea of photographer Henry Hadlow and Ed Cornish and why I think they are smarter than some geek making a living by erasing Madonna’s crows feet:
